Design & manufacture of both snap acting and slow moving bimetallic discs. The bimetallic discs can be any shape or size but the commonest is a round snap action disc.
The operate and reset snap temperature of the discs can be as low as -40°C and as high as 450°C with tolerances as low as +/- 1°C.
They are used in a wide range of products - thermostats, circuit breakers, electric kettles, irons, high pressure sodium lamps, solar collectors, shower controls, automotive cooling systems etc.

We offer customers every assistance in the design and specification of both the bimetal component and its housing or moulding. To back this up we have a small but well equipped engineering facility that enables us to give a fast turn around time for samples.
Sub-assembly of components and the spot-welding of contacts etc can also be done on site.
Recent developments:
We have recently started to manufacture pressure sensitive snap discs in the range -1 (vacuum) to 10 bar and are keen to expand this area of our business.
