Housing & Construction's experience in the construction of freeways, toll-ways and interchanges is unparalleled in the Middle East. The unrivalled success of the Cross-Israel Highway (Road Number 6), a $1.3 billion B.O.T. project has put Housing & Construction at the vanguard of B.O.T. projects. With a partner, the company is currently in the process of constructing the Carmel Tunnels BOT project. The project involves the mining of 10 km. of tunnels under the city of Haifa. This project is valued at approximately NUS 1 billion. As well as the desalination plant in Hadera, the largest of its kind in the world that costs Euro 300 million.
