Hydraulic Expanding Membrane arbors and chucks offer the ultimate in accuracy and repeatability. Ideally suited for plain, spline / serrated, dual diameter and multiple part component location. The tooling can also be designed for use with Auxiliary expanding sleeves to enable location of similar piece parts with different bore / outside diameters. Manual or machine actuated versions are available. Lightweight aluminium bodied tooling can be supplied.
Used typically for fine turn, grind, gear grind, broaching, honing, shaving and inspection operations.
Mechanical Collet Pull Back Action, arbors and chucks produce maximum rigidity and allow increased component loading clearance. Suitable for plain and spline component parts including short location lengths. Interchangeable collets can be supplied. Hand, spring, machine drawbar, air or hydraulic actuation can be incorporated.
Used for turning, milling, grinding and inspection operations.
