Toiminnan kuvaus:
Vaconin toimintaa ohjaa intohimo kehittää, valmistaa ja myydä
maailman parhaita taajuusmuuttajia ja vain niitä.
Taajuusmuuttajia käytetään sähkömoottorin ohjauksessa ja uusiutuvan
energian tuotannossa. Vaconin tuotekehitys- ja tuotantoyksiköt ovat Suomessa,
Yhdysvalloissa, Kiinassa ja Italiassa. Myyntitoimistoja on yli 25 maassa.
Vuonna 2008 Vaconin liikevaihto oli 293,2 milj. euroa, ja yhtiön palveluksessa
oli maailmanlaajuisesti noin 1200 henkilöä. Vacon Oyj:n osakkeet (VAC1V)
noteerataan Helsingin pörssin päälistalla.
