Aircraft Fire Fighting Simulators.

VNE can offer you special designed simulators for airports
produced to be as realistic as it gets to heat, smoke, flames
for training at fire emergency at any airport. Our fire training
simulators is manufactured with focus on the environment.
We have managed to reduce the pollution with over 90%
compared to our customer former training solutions.

Damage Repair Simulators.
-
VNE designs and produces damage repair simulators for
customers. Some of our clients are the Norwegian NAVY.
The simulator simulates the damage typical for a battle ship.
The main task is to give the crew onboard a navy vessel a
training as close to the reality as possible. In addition to
typical hull damages, the simulator is also equipped with
sound and smoke system.

MATERIAL TRANSPORT SYSTEMS
VNE have delivered a large no. of material transportation
systems to both Norwegian and foreign yards. Yard
equipment has and is still our main base in the product
range. We have a long experience of tailor making solutions
for our costumers and will be happy to so also for your
company.

PANEL LINES
VNE have delivered a large no. of panel lines to both
Norwegian and foreign yards. Our employees have a long
and wide experience in this field, and the plants that we
have delivered show to be time saving, user kindly and
cost effective.

ROBOTIC WELDING
VNE have delivered a no. of robotic welding stations to both
Norwegian and foreign yards. The best known would be the
advanced web welding line that we delivered to Kleven verft in
Norway. The plant collects all information from the Cad files
and automatically generates the welding program from these
files. The plant is of this reason specially advanced and gives
very cots effective production of one piece types.
VNE cooperates with most robot and software suppliers and
because of this we have access to the best technology for the
plant to be built at any time.

FLANGE / PIPE PLANT
VNE have delivered a fully automatic flange to pipe welding
plant to Frank Mohn AS in Norway. The extreme productive
and unique plant produces one finished pipe every 2.5 min
against approx 1 man hour in manual production. In addition,
automatic pressure test of the pipes and flanges is done with
a water pressure up to 500 Bar with optional test percent and
automatic reporting of the test result. The welding equipment
used is a Esab AristoTig LTN 160 with automatic wire feeding
and pulsed arc. This unique production plant is developed and
designed by VNE together with Frank Mohn AS and the plant is
a perfect and good example on how companies with success
invests in new and effective production equipment to
increase/strengthen their competitive power.

EDGE CLEANING STATION
VNE's edge cleaning station is designed to remove the shop
primer on profiles before welding takes place. The problems
around shop primers and welding is well known and by
removing the primer one removes the problem.
The plant is based on a vacuum blast system with recovery
of the sand and dumping of disposals in own containers.

Bulk Loading Stations
The development and design of the loading stations is
based on our extensive experience in the offshore market.
Our bulk loading stations can be delivered in various types
and dimensions.

PROPELLER SHAFT PULLER
VNE's unique propeller shaft puller gives great savings in
both man hours and operation time. The product is
developed especially for the repair and maintenance yards
and has become a must for those yards. VNE is capable to
deliver propeller shaft pullers up to 80 tons SWL.

Do the propeller shaft pulling operation without use of hand
driven hoist or other manually operated lifting devices.
The shaft puller is stropped to the propeller hub, and pulls
the propeller shaft out of the sleeve. The operation is fast and
safe.

The puller unit can also be used for dismantling of the rudder.

Tunnel Thrusters
In all we have 22 standard models of tunnel thrusters. In
addition we have a large no of tailor made models. All VNE
tunnel thrusters are designed for long lifetime, user kindnes,
long service periods. All thrusters from VNE should be
competitive in all aboved mentioned matters and also for
costs like purchase, installing, service and maintenancy.

SPECIAL ENGINEERING
VNE offers special engineering services for customers.
Projects of all sizes are carried out. VNE offers a range
of services from feasibility studies, design, manufacture,
installation and commissioning right through to full turnkey
supply. We can offer you solution to almost any problem.

Consultancy
VNE also offers the service of project finance inspections
for banks and insurance companies. Under these services
VNE will act as the customers expertise in evaluating
projects within the ship building and mechanically industry.
By using VNE as a quality assurance, in both the evaluation
of the project finance and as a controller during the project
phase, the project finance institution will receive a
professional evaluation from a neutral third party regarding
the following items:

Evaluation of the yards contract.
Evaluation on the yards project calculations.
Evaluation regarding the yards possibility to accomplish
the project.
Evaluation of surrounding factors that may have a influence
on the project Evaluation regarding project development
during the project phase.

During the project phase VNE will make and provide short
project developments reports and quality assure the yard
opinion on the progress/development in the project. VNE will
report of any new aspects in the projects and advice the
bank/insurance company regarding actions that should be
taken to secure their interests.
