ACTIVITES
L'IFP est un organisme public de recherche et de formation, à l'expertise internationalement reconnue, dont la mission est de développer les technologies et matériaux du futur dans les domaines de l'énergie, du transport et de l'environnement. Il apporte aux acteurs publics et à l'industrie des solutions innovantes pour une transition maîtrisée vers les énergies et matériaux de demain, plus performants, plus économiques, plus propres et durables.
Pour remplir sa mission, l'IFP poursuit 5 objectifs stratégiques complémentaires : capter et stocker le CO2 pour lutter contre l'effet de serre - diversifier les sources de carburants - développer des véhicules propres et économes en carburant - transformer le maximum de matière première en énergie du transport - repousser les limites du possible dans l'exploration et la production du pétrole et du gaz.
Son école d'ingénieurs, partie intégrante de l'IFP, prépare les générations futures à relever ces défis.

ACTIVITIES
The IFP is a state-run organisation dedicated to research and training, whose expertise is acknowledged worldwide, and whose mission is to develop tomorrow's technologies and materials in the energy, transport and environment domains. It provides public players and industry with innovative solutions for a smooth transition to the energies and materials of tomorrow - more efficient, more economical, cleaner and sustainable.
To fulfill its mission, IFP has 5 complementary strategic priorities: capturing ans storing CO2 to combat the greenhouse effect - diversifying fuel sources - developing clean, fuel-efficient vehicles - converting as much raw material as possible into energy for transport - pushing back the boundaries in oil and gas exploration and production.
An integral part of IFP, its graduate engineering school prepares future generations to take up these challenges.
