NEUTREC® is the name of the flue gas cleaning process developed by Solvay and based on the use of dry sodium bicarbonate BICAR®.
Solvay produces BICAR® in various European countries and in USA and sells it all around the world.
NEUTREC® and BICAR® constitute currently one of the leading technologies to neutralize acids in flue gases, in the waste incineration plants (neutralize HCl and SO2) as well as in various industrial fields (desulphurization in particular). More than 180 plants use it in about 20 countries.
SOLVAY makes its know-how available to engineering companies or plant operators for the design and building of flue gas cleaning systems based on dry sodium bicarbonate BICAR®.
