NEDMAG INDUSTRIES is de grootste producent van "dead Burned Magnesia" in Europa. Het bedrijf werd opgericht nadat er zeer bijzondere magnesiumzoutlagen waren ontdekt in het noord- oosten van Groningen. Met moderne boormethodes en dankzij een zelf ontwikkelde winningmethode worden de zouten opgelost en van een diepte van zo'n 1.500 meter naar de oppvlakte gebracht. Nieuwe technieken en marktontwikkelingen hebben geleid tot uitbreiding van ons productie programma met verschillende magnesiumhoudende producten voor de meest uiteenlopende applicaties. Denk aan magnesiumchloride voor gebruik bij gladheidbestrijding, voor stofbestrijding, in sorel cement en in diervoeding. Sinds de verwerving van Calmag BV vervaardingen we ook calcium chloride producten. De calciumchloride producten van Nedmag worden gebruikt voor boorsuspensies in de olie- en gasindustrie, vochtvreters, en stof- en gladheidbestrijdingsmiddelen. Net als magnesiumchloride wordt calciumchloride verkocht in vaste vorm. watervrije korrels - en in een oplossing. Alle producten worden op de markt gebracht onder de nedMag® merknaam: Nedmag C, Magnesiumchloride (vloeibaar), Magnesiumchloride schilfers (Flakes) en Magnesiumchloride druppels (Pellets); Nedmag H, Magnesiumhydroxide oplossing, Magnesiumhydroxide poeder; Nedmag 99, magnesia poeder, Magnesiumoxide DBM briketten, magnesiumoxide DBM poeder; Nedmag Ca, Calciumchloride (oplossingen & korrels).

NEDMAG INDUSTRIES is Europe's largest producer of high-grade "Dead Burned Magnesia". The company was founded after the discovery of rare bischo- fite salt formations in the northern part of the Netherlands. Thanks to modern drilling techniques and a proprietary method of solution mining, we have made it possible to extract the reserves from a depth of some 1.500 m. New technologies and market development have led to the expansion of our product range with several magnesium compounds. Nedmag offers a wide range of products for a variety of applications, for example: Magnesium chloride, used as a component in de-cing fluids, magnesium oxy chloride cements, detergents, dust suppressants and liquid animal feeds. Since the acquisition of Calmag BV, we also manufacture a number of calcium chloride products. The calcium chloride prills and solutions are used as a component in de-icing fluids, drilling muds, dust suppressants, refrigeration systems and chemical processing. All products are marketed world wide under the nedMag® brand name: Nedmag C, Magnesium Chloride (liquid), Magnesium Chloride Flakes and Magnesium Chloride Pellets; ); Nedmag H, Magnesium Hydroxide suspension, Magnesium Hydroxide powder; Nedmag 99, Magnesium Oxide caustic powder, Magnesium Oxide DBM briquettes, Magnesium Oxide DBM powder; Nedmag Ca, Calcium chloride (solutions & prills).
