Our company produces, sells and exports ostrich products and specialties.
S.C. SURAKI S.R.L. is an INTEGRATED AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX made up of:
1.AGRICULTURAL FARM - it holds 600 ha and produces ecological cereals;
2.CONCENTRATED FORAGES FACTORY (CFF) - it produces fodders specialized for various categories of animals;
3.REPRODUCTIVE BIRDS FARM - produces eggs for incubation and sale;
4.INCUBATION STATION - produces ostrich chickens for the raising farm and for third parties;
5.OSTRICH RAISING FARM - ostriches are raised there until they reach the age for slaughter house processing;
6.SLAUGHTER HOUSE - the own ostriches, sheep, goats, calves are slaughter house processed and services of slaughter house processing are performed for third parties;
7.MEAT PROCESSING DEPARTMENT - the meat from the own slaughter house is processed, into high quality butcher's shop products;
8.SKIN PROCESSING DEPARTMENT - the skins from the slaughter house are processed and services are provided to third parties;
9.BIOLOGICAL FILTERING STATION - takes over all the used waters from the farm and provides services to other nearby companies (the resulted water is used for irrigation, and the solid wastes - as fertilizer);
10.ECOLOGICAL INCINERATOR - by double burning at high temperatures it processes the bones and other industrial wastes from the slaughter house and provides services to other nearby companies (the ash is used as fertilizer).
The ostrich meat is a superior meat, healthy, tender, tasty and is part of the red meat category. The ostrich meat is cook just like the other meats known by the traditional food, it can be grilled, baked, cooked as goulash, it can be minced, cooked as roast, as sausages, etc.
We present you, in comparison with the fowl, several values of the ostrich meat:
- the CHOLESTEROL content (mg) is 43% lower as compared to the fowl;
- the FATS content (gr) is 38% lower as compared to the fowl;
- the ENERGETIC value (Kcal) is 74% lower as compared to the fowl.
