Founded in 1936, TAMBOUR is the largest Israeli company leading the local paint market in Israel and in the top 55 among the world's paint manufacturers. TAMBOUR sales exceed 166M $ in 2007, TAMBOUR's paint production capacity in 2007 reached 85 million liters.
For over 65 years TAMBOUR had led Israel's paint industry, incessantly renewing, updating and promoting. In the last years huge investments have been made in resources, new technologies, production lines, advanced R&D and machinery.

R&D and Quality Control
TAMBOUR employs a significant amount of resources on R&D activities. Our laboratory setup, employing scores of experts, engineers and technicians, concentrates on finding color solutions for every requirement. Research and development using advanced technology and sophisticated production methods are merged together at TAMBOUR to provide exactly what is desired : a colorful paint experience for the private customer, professional products for the professional and the required paint solutions for industrial customers.

TAMBOUR is the authorized supplier of paint to the land and air forces of the IDF and Israel's security industries.
Environmental Quality and Reliability
The quality systems of the Company was accredited by the Israel Institution of Standards to ISO 9001;2000 & the safety systems was accredited to OHSAS 18001 as well as to the Gold Mark, which it earned for its four quality marks (the ISO, Standard marks, Green Marks & safety). The Company has also been certified by such various customers as the IAF, NASA 5000 and Israel Defense Industry. Tambour operations are governed by own 41 procedures and 67 work instructions, covering all Quality Management System requirements fully and as required to meet the expectations and requirements of the various customer and secure their full satisfaction .
