Lamina Dielectrics Ltd manufacture a range of made to order spirally-wound and extruded tubular products:
1) Electrical insulation tubes & heat-shrink caps for the electrical insulation of wire connections in electric motors, thermal protectors and general purpose electrical insulation applications.
2) Printed layflat tubing for identification, packaging and battery covers.
3) Straw tubes for high energy physics experiments (manufactured under cleanroom conditions).
4) Voice-coil formers (bobbins) and top-sleeves (collars) for loudspeaker voice-coils.
5) Extruded fluropolymer tubing for chemical, cable and medical applications.
6) Wire repair tubes for protecting & repairing damaged wire insulation.
We utilise a variety of raw materials to create tubular products with a range of properties, including high dielectric strength, high mechanical strength, high temperature resistance, complete chemical resistance (chemically inert) and flexibility.
