Uyar Çelik, a company which has a vision to keep on progressing and developing every new year and a mission to provide always the best quality and service, was founded with the aim of supplying long industrial steel products to the market. The surname Uyar has almost 50 years of past in the iron and steel market of Turkey.
As being one of the leading wholesale companies in the Turkish iron and steel industry with our three plants located in various industrial areas of Istanbul, we are proud to serve our customers in every kind of alloyed and non alloyed long industrial steels and seamless carbon steel pipes with a stock of approximately 25.000 tons. Our main fields of business are hot rolling, cold drawing and foreign trading of various kind of industrial steels.
Due to the big competition in the iron and steel industry which affects the mentality of quality in a better way, the companies in the market are always bound to do new investments. As being a company which has a mission of presenting the best quality, our hot rolling plant investment which has started construction by 2003 has finished by 2005 and active since that time.
The broad customer portfolio of our hot rolled products includes sectors such as automotive industry, machine construction, agricultural equipments manufacture and weapon industry.
The sections which are produced in our hot rolling mill are:
-Hot rolled flat steel bars (EN 10058)
-Hot rolled square steel bars (EN 10059)
-Hot rolled round steel bars (EN 10060)
-Hexagonal steel bars (EN 10061)
-Flat Spring Steel Bars (EN 10092-1)
and some special sections (such as corrugated steel flat bars, angle profiles, steel flat bars for clamps etc..) upon request.
The steel grades which we mainly produce (according to EN) are; S235JR, S275JR, E295, E335, E360, S355J0, C10, C15, C22, C30, C35, C40, C45, C50, C60, 60SiMn5, 55Cr3 and 16MnCr5
In order to supply the precise dimensional tolerances of the market, our company is also active on cold drawing process. Our cold drawing plant uses our own hot rolled products as raw material. We are capable of drawing round, flat, square and hexagon bars while the productions are carried out in h11 and h9 tolerances upon request.
In addition to hot rolling and cold drawing processes, our company also imports several kinds of products with the aim of answering customer inquiries in a wider way. Our imports mainly include:
- Seamless Carbon Steel Tubes
- Alloyed and non alloyed steel bars (Such as C45E, 42CrMo4, 21NiCrMo2, 41Cr4, 16MnCr6, 34CrNiMo6 etc..)
- Forged round steel bars (Such as C45, 42CrMo4, 16MnCr5 etc..)
Our main export market includes Syria, Balkan countries, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Greece and some other neighbouring countries.
