The SMC Corporation of Japan is the world market leader in the
manufacture and supply of pneumatic components. Pneumatic control
equipment is the key to factory automation because of its
operability, environmental friendliness, economy and safety.
SMC's product lineup encompasses approximately 610,000 items in
13,000 basic categories, which are offered singly or in
combinations to meet diversified user needs.
The Irish subsidiary is a stockist and supplier of the largest
range of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic components from our
purpose built facility in Dublin. A nationwide network of trained
sales engineers is in place to provide customers with advice and
recommendations for product selection. The local Control Systems
Division works with customers in the design and build of control
systems for specific pneumatic control requirements. SMC
International Training provides an extensive range of training
courses including pneumatics, electro-pneumatics, energy saving, bus
systems and PLC technology. Standard courses may be tailored to
meet specific requirements and delivered on site.
