Norbar was the first company in the UK to manufacture torque wrenches and is now one of the largest in the World dedicated to the field of torque control. The product range includes torque wrenches, hand operated torque multipliers, pneumatic torque wrenches and a comprehensive range of torque testing and torque calibration equipment. Torque calibration services, accredited to local standards, are available from Norbar's companies in the UK, USA, Australia and Singapore.
Norbar are also expert in the field of ultrasonic bolt testing. Ultrasound is used to measure the change in length of the bolt during the tightening process and from this the induced tension in the bolt can be precisely calculated.
