VISION STATEMENT
The Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber will be viewed by our Members as indispensable to their success; acknowledged by civic leaders, government officials and the media as the authoritative voice of the Princeton Area business community; and recognized by the public as an effective catalyst for improving the quality of life for those who visit, work, and live in the greater Princeton Area.

MISSION
The Mission of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber is to:
  • Serve our Members – with opportunities to meet and do business with other Members and with resources to enhance their success
  • Speak for Business – with a collective voice on public policy issues affecting business and our communities.
  • Promote an environment for business growth – by encouraging economic development efforts that strengthen the Princeton Area’s reputation and by enhancing the quality of life in the communities we serve.
  • As an organization we are committed to excellence in all aspects of our operations. Led by the Chamber’s Board of community leaders with support from a professional staff, we will ensure that the skills, talents and interests of our Members are effectively utilized and supported and that everyone’s experience with the Chamber is positive and productive.

    Opening Keynote Speaker: Ian Steff,  Deputy Assistant Secretary for Manufacturing, Performing the non-exclusive functions and duties of the Assistant Secretary for Global Markets and Director General of the United States and Foreign Commercial Service, U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration
    Presentation: “How the New U.S.-Mexico- Canada Agreement (USMCA) Facilitates Global Business”
    Ian Steff oversees approximately 1,400 trade and investment professionals based in more than 100 U.S. cities and 70 markets around the world. He manages a $300 million budget and a broad portfolio of International Trade Administration initiatives aimed at increasing the competitiveness of U.S. manufacturers and service providers. In this capacity, he is among those senior officials responsible for executing the Administration’s plans to foster growth in U.S. jobs, exports, and investments.
    Before joining the U.S. Department of Commerce, Steff served as the state of Indiana’s first Chief Innovation Officer under then-Governor Pence and subsequently Governor Holcomb. He was Executive Vice President for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and the state’s senior advisor for science, technology, and advanced manufacturing. Steff oversaw Indiana’s strategy regarding science and technology economic development and was directly responsible for the implementation of the Governor’s billion-dollar innovation and entrepreneurship initiative. He worked to expand investments and public-private partnerships in information technology, life sciences, composite materials, nanotechnology, energy storage, and the Internet of Things. Steff served on the Board of the Battery Innovation Center, the Dean of Engineering’s Advisory Council at Purdue University, and the Vice Chancellor for Research’s Advisory Board at IUPUI. Steff also served on the Board of the Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation.


    Closing Keynote Speaker: Kathy Wyrofsky, President of International Products Corporation (IPC)
     
    Kathy oversees day-to-day operations of this manufacturing business in Burlington, NJ. IPC produces and markets a line of specialty precision cleaners and assembly lubricants. She joined the organization in 1987 as the Director of Marketing, becoming President in 2007. Under Kathy’s leadership, the organization has expanded its reach into new South American, Asian, and European markets. IPC sells directly to over 25 countries and to numerous others through international distributors. Recently, the business has expanded to include a new warehouse to accommodate the company’s growing sales and export business. Prior to joining IPC, Kathy worked in pharmaceutical sales and medical marketing. Kathy resides in Medford, NJ with her husband, Rod. She is also the director of her local choir, and enjoys reading, walking, and travel.
